Alan Ellsworth and Josh Epperson Coues deer collection

Alan Ellsworth and Josh Epperson are antler collectors that have been keeping their eye out for great antlers in Arizona for years.  They have an outstanding collection of Coues deer antlers, which they are graciously allowing me to display here on CouesWhitetail.com.  If you ever have questions about buying or selling antlers, call them.  They own Antlers Southwest and purchase deer and elk antlers.  Alan Ellsworth (928) 532-5768  or Josh Epperson (928) 567-6933.

Below is Page 1 of their collection.  To see the rest of their collection, click on the links in the menu on the left hand side of the page.

Alan Ellsworth     2003

WMAT, Arizona

This amazing set of sheds was found by White Mtn Apache tribal members in 2003 and bought by Alan (Josh Epperson is holding the antlers in the photos).  The right antler is a 5 point that grosses 58 inches.  The left antler is an 8 point with a gross score of 64 6/8.  So this pair scores 122 6/8 without a spread!!! What an amazing buck.  And this antler was grown during the drought  in AZ.

I have put in close-up photos of both the left and right antlers for a better look.

Alan Ellsworth     2002

WMAT, Arizona

Alan bought this shed from a tribal member.  He (and Josh, the guy holding the antler) thinks this shed is from the same huge buck above.  It is from the year before the buck grew those massive antlers above.  Oddly enough, it looks like this buck dropped the number of points it grew and increased the length of the remaining points.  This a 61-inch 6-point.

Alan Ellsworth     2002

Alan bought this shed from a tribal member in 2003, but it was probably shed in 2002.  This is a nice 6 point that scores about 55 4/8.
