Anyone have any experience hunting lions over water? I've found 5 kills all within a 1/2 square or so of each other all with in the last few months. I see tracks but the kills are never very fresh and I haven't been able to glass them up yet.

Looking to put in for new mexico for the first ime. i'm really only interested in doing an early season archery hunt. I'm trying to find units that are overlooked so i to have higher draw odds. Right now i'm looking at unit 23. any info or tips?

I want to do a high country mule deer hunt in 2017. I want to do an early season archery hunt so the bucks are still in velvet and I want to do an archery hunt. Are there any states that have any OTC hunts or easy draw hunts where I could do this? Has any one here done a hunt like this and is it feasible? feel free to pm me

Which is better glass between the old slc's or the Kaibabs. I've looked through the Kaibabs and really like them but over never looked through the older model SLC's. Also how does the Zeiss conquest 15x56 compare?

And what's the Zeiss warranty like? I'm pretty familiar with swaros and vortex

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to issuing. Game camera and I always seem to get a ton of moving grass pictures with no animals in them. Anyway to avoid that other than not setting up where there is grass. There was seems to be at least a little wind where I hunt

And how much salt do you put out for deer and so you mix it with water?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but not new to hunting coues but I saw something this season I had never seen before. I found a 3 legged buck torwards then end of December. About 3 inches below his knee on his left hind leg it is gone. The weird thing is he seems healthy. He didn't look skinny, he had decent rack and was even chasing does. My question is do you think this is a birth defect, caused by another animal, or was it shot off? He is over a mile from the closest road so I'm pretty sure its not from a car. The other weird thing is that I found him in an area I had scouted often and had never seen him before this December, and after the initial finding I saw him everyday I was out always pretty close to the same spot. Let me know what you guys think.

Tried my best too. He gave me the slip all archery season. On the last day I found a bobcat 200 yds away from where he was bedded so I'm afraid they may be on to him already. I set a camera up in the area so hopefully I willbe able to keep a close eye on him till next season.
