+1 on 3" #5 shot. Stacked many gobblers out to 50 yds without issue. Federal turkey load - lead with a flight control wad.

Just out of morbid curiosity, how many auction tags are there?
-
ADBSS believes there will be a lot less money for projects with the new commission rule. Time will tell.

Got 5" of heavy wet stuff yesterday. Snowed for 6+ hours east of Show Low.

Lots of buzzworms in that unit. A buddy of mine encountered 13 (he kept count) while on hands and knees during his archery lope hunt. Pay attention!

Stumbled on to this while browsing Youtube. There are multiple uploads. I never met Dale Lee but did meet Clell in the late 60's at their upper ranch near Hannegan Meadow. Watched Clell rope at the Alpine rodeo multiple times. A good listen.

Got a hit for early bull elk after a 10 year wait. Likely archery 3B.

Figured Fisch would be poached, just not this soon. AZ schools have a tough time keeping good coaches, better programs and $$$.
-
Looks like Fisch is taking the Washington job. https://arizonasports.com/story/3541263/arizona-football-coach-jedd-fisch-reported-agrees-to-deal-with-washington/`

Really not much to say. ASU athletics is in the toilet. Enjoyed watching the Cats rock OU in the 4th quarter. Congrats to the Cats on finishing strong.

You don't mention what you'd like to hunt, most hunters start off hunting small game. Seasons are generally long. AZGF's website has a ton of info. Learn the regulations, take an online hunter education class. Dove, quail and rabbits abound in the desert. Get a shotgun, a vest & decent boots then take a walk.

LU 640 - Serve an apprenticeship - Focus on instrument & controls. Serve him well for life. Good clean work that an older person can perform, Nobody stays young forever. -
Surely you flatter yourselves.

3rd year of NCAA cloud, NIL incompetence, transfer portal, new coach, etc. I'd say Devils did OK. That being said, congrats to the Cats. Had a good season and should get a decent bowl game. Hope they win it.

It follows that Aspen Lodge advocates for feral horses on public lands. Admit it and move on.

Not A3 but AZG&F has flown 5BN prior to the early archery elk hunt (usually the Tuesday prior to the opener) every year I've been there. Looks like a 180 Cessna, a tail dragger. Easy to tell where they find elk as there is usually some high performance/low altitude flying. Not sure why the do it but they do.

The principals of Aspen Lodge (you) have taken a stance on an issue that is very important to outdoorsmen. We will vote with our money and do our best to make fellow outdoorsmen aware of Aspen Lodge's stance concerning feral animals on public land. ^^^^ this

Great looking ram, love the color of his horns. Well done!

Released for sale today, anybody know if this unit is all they say it is? Thinking about taking the plunge.

Friends of mine lost their dogs while camping on the north side of Escudilla in unit 1. They are camped on the 275 road at Mud Springs. Dogs bolted from camp 9:00 am today, Sunday the 13th. Camp is still being manned by friends and the owners are currently searching for the dogs as I type this. No luck yet. Ruby is a 5+ year old golden retriever and Laney is a 13 month old Aussie doodle. Dogs have collars with owners phone number. Contact me with any info

I appreciate a cranky RSO, too many idiots at public ranges. If an butt chewing is earned, take it don't whine.

Good point. No need for this thread to go any further.

Looks like a near perfect mushroom to me. 30-30 has successfully taken large game for a 100 years.
