Vintage Hunting Photos

Recommended Posts

Got some old hunting photos to share? I don't know exactly how old they need to be to be "vintage", but I would say at least before 1980, preferably much older.

There have got to be a bunch of great old photos that some of you have. Scan them and post them up. If you don't have a scanner, you might have a friend that does or perhaps the local library.

Thank you to Jeff Falls (EffenJeff) for suggesting this forum idea!!!

Can not think of much I could offer

but look forward to what the Family has to offer.

Bring them on

I ask that our Friend Tony (Outdoorwriter) will

jump back in on this one ;)

Come on Tony,

You can make this a GREAT topic ;)

if you don't have a scanner you can also take a pic of a pic with your digital camera and they turn out pretty good, then you can just load it like a normal digital photo. Great idea

25-06,

that is one of the best stories I've read. It is called the Total wreck mine Jaguar. It was shot in 1961 on the La Cie'nega Ranch.

Are you related to Goodwin, Ferguson, or Barnett?

I am not related to any of them (wish I was).

I'm sure Mr. Quimby has more than a few.

Wish I did. I lost most of my early photos (I didn't have that many) in a fire at our home three or four years ago. Those I was able to to save are at my publisher's shop.

Hey guys, you might want to make a new thread each time you post some vintage pics. That way people can find them easier later if you give them a good title.

Does anyone know where this "La Cie'nega" Ranch is located? Just curious. EBB
