Dads First Archery Coues

Recommended Posts

I love the idea of a spot to share vintage photos. I really enjoy looking at old hunting photos. So here is one of my dad. His first archery coues. The buck was taken in 1968 in Unit 27 just a few miles from Hannigan Meadows. The buck net scores 114". Everyone begged him to strip the velvet because the buck would have become the new world record. He made a good choice to leave the velvet on and he still looks good on the wall today.
