First Mule Deer buck thanks to AZ Ground and Pound!

Recommended Posts

My first muley buck…

Those of you that have hunted 22 in the early rifle hunt understand that hunting with 700 tags is a tough job! I experienced the same thing, the deer were so scattered and jittery it made successful hunting nearly impossible, I guess that is why the success rate is less than 15% for this particular hunt.

After 4 long days of hunting I decided to give the experts at AZ ground and pound outfitters a call. Levi was my guide and the tips and guidance he gave me helped me become one of those 15% or so to land a buck! Levi not only helped me scout, glass, stalk, and more, he taught me hunting lessons that will last a lifetime. Special thanks to Levi at Ground and pound outfitters, if you are looking for a good guide that knows hunting… GIVE THESE GUYS A CALL you wont be disappointed. Thanks again guys!

Thanks for the post We appreciate it. Great job on your hunt and good luck to the whole Grand Canyon University wrestling program. Like Coach Pirch always said..keep your head up, butt down, elbows in, knees bent and put a wrinkle in your neck.

Thanks we appreciate it. Who is trphyhntr? Sounds to me like a Yellow Jacket. Yeah I remember that game. I still consider that as a win in my mind. The AZ Ground Pounders are 1/4 yellow jacket because Steel played up there.. But I still don't know what 2 14 one 11 means.

ya it was an awesome game. ya most teams consider getting within 1 score of the yellowjackets a win too ;)

i remember you streaking down the sideline for that score thinking there was no way we were going to win with a last second touchdown. I was RB for blue ridge, was my best game of all time i think. i remember playing JV basketball against you also, you were a good defender
