Do you have any more pictures???? Story????

Last november I went on a eastern whitetail hunt in Calling Lake, Alberta, Canada with Mckinnon outfitters. ( huntmco.com )they were awesome! Great lodge with mounts all around the world!

You get a whitetail tag and also a wolf tag and you can shoot and take as many wolf as you want, they are just hard to spot! Smart dudes! all hunting done in a raised blind. Day 1 saw alot of deer but no shooters. Day 2 saw even more deer! Around 830am after spotting about 5 deer out comes a beautiful 170ish buck standing in tall grass at 125 yards broadside looking like a field and stream dream photo and a perfect shot. After about 5 mins of a starring contest and switching my safety off and on debating if he was a shooter I let him walk! Still don"t know if that was a good choice! After that buck things shut off besides this stupid spike passing 20 yards in front of me back and forth about 8 times. Out popped a deer at 700yds so i brought my 270 wsm up to take a look in the scope... huge doe! Out of the corner of my eye while lowing my rifle a black wolf is starring at me 30yds away. I quickly drew my rifle and the wolf ran off! After that no activity. Two hours later of looking at snow I had to take a leak. I checked all of my windows in my blind and started stripping off many layers, it was about 5 degrees. Getting ready to drop my thermals I checked my windows one more time. Wolf! 115yds broadside smelling the ground. I slowly grabbed my rifle this time, pants around my boots, raised up and BOOM! Spine shot dropped him where he stood! After a heck ya and a fist pump i went and got him.

Day three 42 deer 1 wolf that i couldnt get a clean look at running through the grass and my 142 buck. I had two days left to go on the hunt but had to wrap it up because a family illness back in AZ.

All in all best hunting trip I have ever been on! Sitting in the bling was difficult but i saw plenty of game and came home with a trophy!
