Bob, congrats on a nice antelope buck. Looks like nice country to hunt in.

If anyone is interested in hunting WY, one good investment might be a subscription to Eastmans Hunting Journal for their MRS reports.

Eastmans is pretty rite on in that state with antelope. I told My buddy We were in a green chip unit according to Eastmans. He agreed. Blue chip are the top high end producers of big bucks. He guided there for many years and knows lopes very well in that State. I din't want to wait any longer to hunt and at 2 points behind max its a long wait to catch up. Growth seems to be down a little this year there too. Mine needed bigger top end. But still very happy.............BOB!

its not that hard or exspensive to do this hunt . we got 16 speed goats by larimie in unit 43 this year. you just need to put in in march then when you get drawn pay attention to the traspasing tags draw. then get a cheap motel and hunt the hunt your ares or go up at the end of the hunt and you don;t need the traspass tag . it cost us $336.00 for a buck and doe tag. got drawn last 4 yrs biggist buck tjis was 76 2/8 there ar egoats everywhere

Yep ,We saw 42 does with one small buck. 300+ in one area. I had free housing at buddies place. Tag was only $280. With luck in the draw I could get it every 1-2 years in special draw for $250 or so extra. At My age its worth it. I want quality hunts while I can. (I'M 58)..............BOB!

Here is a live pic. of My Wyo. Antelope from Sept. Actually at the beginniing of this post I added the pic. about a minute before I shot him. My buddy from Casper mailed it to Me today. He wanted Me to wait till it got up. I don't like to wait. My buddy walked to the truck to get something and He heard a shot. Right in the neck from the view You see. 200+ down hill. No Helicopter involved. LOL. Most Guys like to wait till an animal gets up. Not Me. My Dad always took neck shots and I seem to be following suit. I would say 6 of my last 7 animals have been in bed or neck shots. Thanks to My buddy Cliff Clark in Casper. for the help finding Him and putting up with Me for 3 days of hunting. Deer this year in Wyo. Time to cash in some more points (7)..........BOB!

One more thing. The view You see is what I saw. Would You have shot him. I was in a good unit. Not one of the top units. Bases looked good and good prongs , just not great up top. That was one of the best seen in the area this year. I was happy. You won't offend Me if You say no ,i would of held out. I had upto 3 more days to hunt. Thanks............BOB!
