22250 will do more damage belive it or not. I shot my lope with a 210 berger at 618 and it just poked a hole in his heart. In and out no time to expand from the 30\416 rigby imp at 3450fps.

It's getting built right now I will probably shoot 350 smks for now and anneal them.

Have you looked at rockeymountian bullets?

Ya i have i may have to try some cutting edge bullets or some whiskey 3 bullets. II may try some 375 grainers also.

Killed a buck 3 yrs ago 517yrds .270 wsm shooting 130 fusion..poked a nice hole in and out as well..Just took the top of his heart and he dropped in his tracks

I'm only familiar with the eastern portion of 2A, where there are "checkerboarded" blocks of private land. You can get around, but without some on-the-ground scouting, you may encounter access problems.

hunted with some friends several years ago there. one shot a mid eighties net buck. really nice. saw one that looked considerably larger, but never got him. there are some access issues, but you can get around all right. the little zuni rez kinds gets in the way. you should do well. i'd make at least one trip before the season to get familiar with the area. i'd take that hunt any time. Lark.
