Welcome Poison Arrow Gear as a new sponsor!

Recommended Posts

Please help me welcome Poison Arrow Gear as the newest sponsor of CouesWhitetail.com! James Jantzen is the owner of Poison Arrow Gear and has developed an amazing decoy for archery hunters. James opened his business in 2014 after seeing a need for a better decoy. He wanted to create something that was "small, light, and deadly". I think you will find that he has created an amazing product that you will want to take with you on your archery hunts to make you more successful.

The decoy weighs only 3.2 ounces and it attaches to the last arrow in your quiver for fast and easy deployment. Because it is attached to your quiver, it blocks the motion of you drawing your bow. The decoys are designed to be facing head-on and to get the target animal to take notice and be distracted while you draw.

I spoke with several hunters who have used this decoy on their elk hunts and they were completely impressed at the effectiveness of this decoy. Their comments included these statements "there is no other decoy like it", "lightweight, very useful and not cumbersome", "any bowhunter that sees it in use will want it", "used it last year and had giant bulls stare at me for a long time", "no tools needed, can deploy and put away in seconds", "everyone who bowhunts elk should have one". You get the idea...they couldn't stop with the praise for the usefulness of this decoy.

James makes decoys for elk, mule deer, turkey, antelope and is making one for Coues deer soon. If you are serious about archery hunting, give this decoy a look.

James is dedicated to pleasing his customers and even offers that he can make any decoy you want from a photo you provide. So you can have a decoy custom made for you! Maybe you have a mountain goat or sheep hunt coming up? Just get a good photo and he can make a decoy for your hunt.

Poison Arrow Gear also makes a lifesize elk target that you can use to practice for your upcoming hunts. This target is made of woven fabric and can be hung up in front of your regular target so that you are shooting at a lifesize animal target. This gives you the benefit of being able to practice finding your kill zone on a lifesize target.

James has also created a lighweight grill you might be interested in.

I would like to give a hello. I am James the owner of Poison Arrow Gear. I am enthused to be a member of this forum. I am really looking forward to hunting coues this next season.

One thing, you all have a keeper of the gate. Amanda is thorough. I am glad I made it.

I am planning on doing a coues decoy. I would like your input on this as I have never hunted them. ( I tried to post the picture of the coues. How do you post pictures?)

Again I am glad to be here and look forward to getting acquainted.

I would love to see a toad of a buck live in the wild like this one. Looks good

If this attaches to your bow would it not act like a kite if the wind was blowing? It seems it would really effect your hold even in a breeze.

It is attached to one or your arrows. If it is windy you can pop it out and hold it in your hand or hang it on a bush . There is a shock cord about 12" long that is used to wrap up the decoy. You can use that to attach it to a bush or tree.
