there was a rack in a sporting goods store in cotez co that wernt far from that. from the 3rds up it looked like a moose. seems like it was a 10x10. tremendous rack. wonder what happened to it? it was right in the front window. don't even know if the store is still open. we useta always get our tags there. be neat to see a photo of it again. Lark.

Actually this is not a fake animal. They did exist many many years ago but are now extinct. I read they are trying to bring them back somehow. Sounds like Jurassic park to me but it would very cool to hunt an animal like this.

Yeah, the Irish Elk was a European member of the deer species about 7500 years ago. But that photo is a fake. I don't think they had that good of digital cameras back then.......
