Yoshi Report post Posted May 10, 2016 Was it me or has 23 been slow for everybody? have been up there for the 2 weekends (because of work of Course) and they were not to much gobbling going on or did not hear many shoots.. Jnj13 Report post Posted May 11, 2016 Same....Had 1 talking to us last Friday but he stayed put. Shut up around 5:30 AM. We hiked up to him and ran into a small flock, jake and 4 hens. Couldn't get a shot. Saturday morning we heard 1 gobble. Literally 1 gobble and then the snow came. We bailed. That's our 3rd turkey hunt in 23, all unsuccessful. Tuff unit. Canyons.
