Mojave or Diamondback?

Recommended Posts

I'm no expert but being that there are diamond shape patterns on its back, I'd say it's a Mohave.

I can't decide if I should kill them all or not. What's are stance on that, should I go out of my way to kill them? I guess I'm not use to being out this time of year, I've seen 6 now this week.

I saw one last weekend, but I can't say how many scales were on its head. I blew it's head clean off with my .45. It sure was green though. It sure stunk when skinning know one wanted to eat it.

That's my exact same story, except I hit mine on the 8th shot from my pistol in the back then dropped a rock on it

I'm probably in the minority here, but I go around them if I can. I realize it's not always possible, but I try. I've also tried relocating them, I don't recommend that.

let em be. They're out there 365, we're out there a fraction of that. They serve a purpose, we're trespassing... not the other way around. JMHO
