Here's a better pic. Pretty wide, a 5-by, died in velvet. Found on the HAM javelina hunt.

If you enlarge the pic, you'll see that unfortunately some of the points were eaten off, but yes, weird. Would have liked to seen his full rack.

cool find. that's a weird one

only muley intact skull I found was in 13a, was leaning against a mound under a scrub oak one of the few that was with in 100 yards over looking a canyon. trying to get comfortable and i'll be dang a partial buried skull and horns of a 3x3 in that mound.

yeah I'll get one tomorrow as her deadhead elk and this 3 point are going to the shop so I can make a aluminum mounting plate for them and stick them on the wall.

 

its nothing big or even close to special just a normal buck from the late 80s
