Always looking for new ways to cook salmon. I usually grill it on foil with a little olive oil after I skin it and remove the red flesh along the lateral line. Do you pre soak the plank then put it on the grill to get hot?

Fresh squeezed lemon juice
Fresh dill
Minced garlic
Olive oil
1/4 cup + brown suger
Mix it up and slather it on. I let marinade about 3 hours.
Throw it on the board on low about 20 minutes or until the meat grain turns milky.

I love real salmon like wild caught sockeye and Coho, but I hate that farm raised Atlantic Salmon crapola.

I won't order it in a resturant because it is probably farm raised.

Salmon snobs.  But it's so necessary.  Yum.  I love it.  LOL

How do you handle the bones, pull them or just plan on finding them while you're eating?

Run your fingers across the fillet and pull each one out as you find them.
