Eurasian dove hunt

Recommended Posts

Chris (Goldfinger78) and I decided to do some Eurasian dove hunting today to get ready for Dove season. It was a little slower than normal, but we still managed to get 62 birds in about 3 hours. With the overcast it was an Amazing day of dove hunting!

We would have killed twice as many if my son would have gone. Unfortunately he didn't want to go:(

Maybe he is tired of cleaning doves since you guys killed half the population last year :)

We went out again today. It was a little slower and I missed a lot, but we still got 42. After we had a great bbq. Nothing like fresh dove...

You ever eat them next to mournings or white wings big browns? Bunch more meat to em but stronger more liver type flavor to me. I swear they just absorb bbs and keep flying sometimes. You guys got a honey hole.

We love eating them. I think they taste the same as Morning and White Wing Dove.

Yes, they are very similar to pigeons and can absolutely take a hit and keep on flying!!!!
