Colorado trip

Recommended Posts

Had a great time again in Colorado. This year changed it up a little with drawing a different unit then I was use too and hunting a different season (2nd Rifle). Warm and dry but it made the days mild and beautiful. Didn't glass many deer that I was accustom to there but made success out of it. One of my retired buddies from work broke his mule deer spell and I was able to get him his first Colorado deer. The last time he harvested a deer was over 17 years ago. Not for lack of trying or not getting drawn. He just had the mule deer curse. Enjoy the pics. And a little teaser I may post in the coues deer section later . I shot the biggest coues of my life last week here in Az. . He grossed right at 130" for a typical 3 point . Can't believe it. Stay tuned.

Very cool you helped him break the curse. I have been researching for a CO muley hunt for a but the options are a bit overwhelming with out being able to put boots on the ground scouting.

Congrats on two successful trips to the field. Especially that bomber Coues!
