Last week Friday I was in the Prescott National forest and was charged by a large bearded javelina. Finally turned at 5-6 feet from me. I stood my ground and waved my hands at its eye level, yelling "hey". Pretty crazy. Just thought I would share. I have never seen one with a beard.....maybe it just had something hanging off its snout but it looked like a wizard.

Bearded javelina? You sure it wasn’t one of trophyhunter’s old girlfriends?

I seen one in the Prescott area a few years ago and had freakishly long hair on its back.

Maybe he just wanted you to give him a shave.

Kidding aside I heard an old lady in Bisbee got mauled pretty bad by one recently.

I am unable to confirm whether the javelina or the old lady had a beard.

Well on second thought, it's Bisbee so there is a good chance the old lady is a dude, and may have a beard.
