measafrontier Report post Posted December 19, 2017 Just curious to know from those familiar with unit 1 about what areas are move productive. We started up near Big Lake and bumped into a few different solo cows, but they had calves and we passed up. No snow to speak of, but most of the water with exception of the W. fork was frozen including Big Lake. We moved down near Greens Peak and bumped into a few more, but couldn't get a shot off. rossislider Report post Posted December 19, 2017 I was up there this past weekend helping three different hunters. One hunter couldn't make it up till Saturday morning, but each of the three had their cow on the ground withing the early hours of their respective opening morning. Those cows, like most, are super patternable. I'm back in the valley now, but would be happy to give you a few places to look and tips.
