Finally got some snow in the high country and we were able to get out and chase some cats! We got our own dogs this year and this was our first track to give them a try. We cut this track early and it still had snow in it. After moving slow for about a mile they kicked him up hot and treed him within a couple hundred yards. Ended up being a nice sized tom. My dad has been wanting to kill one for a while but things never quite worked out until today. Congrats dad!

Excellent first lion!! Very cool that you got him on your first chase with you own dogs and your father/family together on the hunt.
Did you chose up on the Rim?
