Why not try a plain old 243AI. It will get you those velocities and is really the same as 6CM? Really easy to get the 243 brass and fire form. Been shooting one for years super accurate try it you'll like it.

If I know Lance his decisions come down to the littlest detail for a reason why he shoots what he shoots even if its more work or similar.  Plus he likes to shoot rifles most people don't have.

No fire forming 300 pieces of brass w. 6CM.  And....Lapua small primer brass.....

Don't get me wrong, I love AI and other "improved" cartridges.  I have/had several (.250AI, .25-06AI, .280AI., 6.5SLR, 6.5SS)  I considered another .250AI (I had a nice one for years) for this build.  It shot a 115 @ 3000fps.  This should do that as well, and the 6mm 115 has much higher BC than the .257" 115.

Realized after I commented you had already picked a cartridge and understand your brass reasoning. Was just throwing something out there. Good luck to you

Adjusted zero, then....It shoots as good as it looks.  Shots 7/8/9 from the rifle.  105 Hybrid @ 3056fps

The local inspector had to get a better look at the rifle...

20181028_085237_zpslscjguwh.jpg

I got the 105 Hybrids up to 3200fps with no signs of pressure.  Everything was under .5". Had the above group @ .240", and the group @ 3200fps were at .307". All with bullets seated just touching the lands for testing purposes.

I have had this rifle.out several.times to stretch it's legs.  From 545 to 1251, it is amazing.  Out at 1435, that is about the limits of where it is real consistent.  Even small breezes start to really push the 105s around and open up groups to about 8" (I didn't hike up to measure that group).  Still accurate enough to shoot at coyotes though.

5 shots @ 851 went into a 2" group
