I knew a guy who thought he was going to get-rich by killing/selling rattler skins (he had a jar with like 30skins in it, never sold single one hahaha), But his method of finding snakes was to walk with "heavy-feet", It would alert the rattlers and they would buzz, letting him know where the snake was...
