My vote is something like 6.5 SLR, .260AI, 6.5x47L, 6.5CM, .260Rem, 6.5x55AI, 6.5x55 Swede, etc. A Proof would be a tough pill to swallow for me to shoot out in 2 years. ( I do like both of those calibers, just would want a lil more horsepower) You can always develop a mild practice load and a hotter one to hunt with. Disclaimer!! Ive got a 6.5 creedmoor currently, by the time i have everything I need for this one I will have a 7ss as well. So maybe a 260ai, 7ss, and rebarrel current creedmoor to a 22 creedmoor? Always enjoy hearing opinions and debates from you guys.
