    Tell me about Girl hunters

This is all great to hear and see. I have identical girls n am hoping that at least one of them will want to come out hunting with me one day. I think it is such a great opportunity to spend time with your children in the outdoors. Teaches them alot. Already got them excited about fishing. The seed is planted.

    Pines or Pinions????

Hunting up between flagstaff and williams. Been scouting both the pinion juniper and Pine forest. What do you guys prefer. Is it easier to find and stalk deer in the pines or Junipers? Any help would be great, it's pretty thick in the juniper stuff, I'm just curious how you guys find the deer again once down low???

    late archery strategies

I'm also thinking about this tag, I've known people to have luck with sitting heavy trails, water. Also spot and stalk mid day. But I think the crunchy ground is also true, makes the stalk difficult. I guess it depends on the terrain your hunting. But for me I would say spot n stalk!!

    7W scouting trip

I saw a bunch up there marking and surveying, hopefully won't cause too much trouble. But could make it tough to find animals.
  6. I love it as well, gets you tuned up for ducks and quail. Hope it's not too hot out there opening weekend.

Hey Nice work, great deer. Always feels a bit sweeter when you put in hard work with a little upset along the way. Congrats

    7W scouting trip

Hello everyone, I'm a nub to coueswhitetail and hunting AZ. I came across this thread with hopes of seeing how others have done. Been up scouting for Deer in 7w now 5 trips. Seen lots and lots of elk ranging from the cedars to upper pine areas on some of the bigger mountains. But very few Deer. I have seen sign, I am curious if they are still up higher elevations or I'm just in a bad area. It's my first rifle mule deer hunt. Any thoughts on how I can switch it up and find some bucks? Any help would be great.
