  2. i love it. maybe it'll help some of these mindless change folks to realize what he wants to change us to. he doesn't have a chance against mccain. dems are dumb.

    Sheriff Joe

i think he's good at enforcing the laws, especially since no one else wants to. my only criticism is that he seems to love the tv, and he seems to thrive on the drama (he takes a pulpit with him to his sweeps). they should do more of this, but include sweeps for sexual predators and some of the other crimes that offend me and humanity a little more than illegal presence.

    Last Day Fox

nice work, man. what kind of damage did the shotgun do, if any?
  5. i wish one of these goons just had the integrity to have a solid set of ideas about how to run the country, rather than pandering to every special interest group or demographic they think they can promise votes out of. someone who would just say what needs to be done, and would do it, and to heck with it if he's not elected, he was true to what he though was right. instead they promise everything to everyone, anything to be elected. they have ambitions... not ideas.

    Snakes

a friend of mine growing up was bitten by a large timber rattler on the way into the black river to fish. he ended up spending the day there fishing, then walked out. he was terribly sick the next day, but lived to tell about it. i don't think i would have stayed to fish, but i definitely would have walked out rather than wait. kind of along the same lines about the smaller snakes letting go of more venom.
  7. I'd like to buy either of these two if any of you have one you can part with or know where to get a good used one. I've looked at several gun stores, just haven't found one that I wanted. email me with the details. thanks. jay

    Hey Video Guys!

if you want to save some change, jvc makes a nice little full hd camera called the everio. the only problem i've had is that the OIS is crap, so a good tripod is essential. also has a doubler which helps. i think it retails around 1500 or so.
  9. good info. thanks guys. i thought he was full of it. i proposed selling him my dogs for $50 so he could sell them and he opted not. so yeah. if it looks like it, and smells like it.
  10. I talked to a guy this evening who lives in maricopa, who says he's been selling fur to a guy in mesa. he shoots a dog, skins it, fleshes it, rolls it, freezes it, and passes it on to the guy in mesa who stretches them and sells them, he swears he's getting $100 per coyote and fox. i don't know much about it, but it smells like bs to me. what do you guys think? but the thing is, he's not really one to tell stories. i don't know. j

    foxpro zr2

no. it has a 1 minute delay on it, or you plug in to the amp with your ipod, which is how i used it.

    foxpro zr2

as far as adding calls, i wasn't able to use the foxpro calls. i tried to use quicktime pro to change the format, but was unable to. so i ended up using the free calls from varmint al, the california callers forum, and a couple of others. then i used garage band to mix the sounds together into 8-10 minute series, created playlists on itunes, like, birds, cottontails, jacks, etc... and would set up and play them, which is cool, cos you set the time it plays for. when the sounds stop playing your stand is up. i started using a feather as a decoy, so i'll throw in this woodpecker decoy as well, it's not the best, but anything to keep them looking at something other than you right. ultimately though, i wanted the remote control. i even looked into buying a remote control for the ipod called an ijet, which i think would have worked. and i found a site that sells 100ft of 1/8" stereo cables for $25, that's an extra 30 yards... plenty. i can take paypal if interested, and i'm actually in gilbert, with dreams of getting back to the white mountains. which part are you in? my folks are still up there. jay and here are the sounds list... foxpro zr2

i have a new, used twice foxpro zr2 for sale. it's black, and comes loaded with 12 sounds. you can re-record those sounds if you like. the sound quality is excellent. i used it as an external amp and speaker for using my ipod, and also have with it 37 feet of 1/8" stereo cable to use with your mp3 player. this unit won't download sound files to it, but you can download them to your external player. quality is good. we ended up getting an fx3, so i don't need this one anymore. i'd like $130 for it.
  15. this was a very cool stand, i was perched atop a cliff overlooking a clearing in the canyon below, and had my caller set out on a bench where i would be able to see anything coming in from the opposite side of the canyon, and down the canyon, figuring the wind would give me away to anything up canyon. about 10 minutes into my call, i noticed a fox running in, jumping over some rocks... so i readied myself, but 4 minutes later he still hadn't appeared. i changed to a vole squeak, but turns out, it hung up just in the trees about 20 yards from my call, and i could hear it snarling at the sound... but i couldn't see it. then the fox moved up to get the wind and i finally saw it, but only had a head shot, at about 50 yards. i passed. then the fox moved out of sight, but i couldn't see it... the growling, however, was getting louder, and i thought to myself.... "it's coming up here". a few moments later and the fox came bouncing and snarling up on top about 20 feet away from me, without knowing i was there... i thought, what the heck, and shot.... missed. it ducked out and then i saw another animal run toward me, just off to my right... i noticed the short tail and cursed myself for taking the shot at the fox... the cat ran about 30 yards away from me, from front to back, and i took another shot on the run this time.... miss. frustrated, i turned back to see the fox bounce back up to the rock it was on when i missed, so i aimed, fired, nailed it. it turned and danced its way down into a crevice in the rocks, so i turned back to where the cat had run off to, and saw it had stopped about 40 yards away... i aimed, fired... then didn't see it run off. i walked the short distance to find it laying there where I had shot it. it was a small female with very orange fur, weighed about 15 lbs. i picked it up, walked back to my stand, then grabbed the fox. all in all it was probably the most exciting thing i've ever experienced. except maybe my daughter's birth. this makes three cats, a fox and a coyote for a friend in 15 days, it's almost going to my head. love the foxpro.
