    NM ORYX

Had a great trip with some buddies over to NM last month. This is my 2nd Oryx first one was a bull and this one was a cow. The costs have increased and I figured they looked enough alike I didn't care if it was a bull or cow. Few years ago bull Last months cow

    Coues European mounts

Those are cool. We are just starting to build or I would pick it up. The last thing I need is to store it for a year or more collecting dust. Looks very nice though

    Brunos has...

Ask anyone on this site that knows me how much I give away, both personally and professionally. Ask them about my character or my honesty, that is the only thing I have. Just because I choose to struggle to make a living because I give too much away doesn't mean that I should expect every business to do it. I have given thousands of dollars of powders, primers etc... away but I don't expect a business to do it. They need to make a living and if they choose to charge extra so they can keep it in stock so be it, don't buy it, don't deal with them, perfect you have that freedom. But yeah they sell out so there are plenty of people that will pay for it so its not gouging in my opinion.

I agree on greed, but it is the greed of the people buying it at those prices not the business. They could just wait for a year instead of being so greedy to want it now. Again that is NOT on the business, it is on people. I don't care one way or another about Brunos, Living up here in the Show Low area I'm not sure I've ever bought anything from them. I can guarantee you one thing though, If I was building a new gun and needed powder or primers or something an extra couple hundred bucks out of a few thousand would not be an issue at all. I guess I could sit on a nice shiny new gun because I didn't want to pay higher prices or I could find someone that had it in stock and go buy it from them.

haha yes gouging, you absolutely can't live without primers, powders etc... If you don't want it don't buy it. If you want it bad enough you'll pay for it. Why do people have a problem with supply and demand. Oh wait lets get government involved, that will fix everything.

WTB Titanium wood stove for back country camping

I've used one quite a few times so I'll share my experience. Pros- Great for drying gear, warming up before bed and early in the morning, fairly lightweight if you can split it up and share the weight, or camping close to your vehicle. You can also cook on top of the flat titanium stoves in a pinch. Cons- Does not hold a fire very long at all. You have to add firewood about every hour- hour and a half at the minimum to keep fire going. heavy for solo backpacking, not ideal for changing locations every night. Cooking on one takes quite a bit of time. Not recommended unless you really don't want to also pack a jet boil I actually really like mine but I am very discerning on when I use it. Most of the times the weight and inconvenience isn't worth packing it. It really really excels when I'm in wet weather. There is nothing worse than spending multiple nights in wet clothing or gear. Wood heat is the best for drying things out.

Hide your guns from your ex!

Yeah thats kind of stupid. Lots of reason people need storage. Take me for example, We sold our home (about 3500sqft) with a 2 car garage, we now live in the home I grew up in (580sqft) No garage. I have about 20 mounts that take up about 480 of that sqfootage so yeah I need a storage unit for the rest of the mounts and tools and ammo etc.........until I build another home.

    Border Crossing

Actually we almost always get stopped north of Douglas by border patrol at their checkpoint. We have never had a problem though hence the reason I made sure to clarify.

    Border Crossing

Ive been going down through Douglas for 16 or 17 years to hunt deer and occasionally some Goulds. The ONLY problem we have ever had is being extorted for $40 or $50 bucks occasionally, and the dang knuckleheads on the US side coming back in. Sure is funny how much grief they give hunters over some ticks that can't get over the border any other way than on a dead deer cape. Sure wish they had something else to worry about, oh wait....... To be fair, we travel in the daylight and we don't hang out in the towns or cities. Once we cross we head straight to the ranch. I know its different than Rocky Point, but it sure isn't much of a risk if you ask me. A lot more dangerous in parts of the US. JUST TO BE CLEAR, I'm not knocking our border patrol, I know they have a thankless job and their hands are tied sometimes. My beef is with the Fish and Wildlife
