    CWT BarBQ

Sounds like a good time. I’m a little new to the site so it’ll be good to meet a few fellow hunters, and have some good BBQ. Although the 7th of February will be very very hard…seeing as it’s my girlfriends birthday. She loses a lot of time during the hunting seasons.

    Rocky Point Problems?

Allen, I go to Rocky Point 3-4 times a year and I have yet to have a problem. My favorite times to go are in the off season, it seems to be a bit more relaxing. Luke Adams

judging hold over on a coues

Recurveman, My best advice would be to know what your gun can do. I shoot a 300 win mag that?s equipped with a Leupold Vari-X scope. We sent the scope into a company that gutted the insides and placed dots ranging from 300 yards out to 700 yards. What this does is it eliminates a lot of the guesswork, and allows you a much greater chance to hit your target. The last deer I shot was just over 600 yards and with the right equipment and a lot of practice and???some LUCK it makes things a lot easier. The good thing is if you miss at that range chances are good you?ll get another shot. LukeAdams
