    Dog Training

I have a black lab that is 4 months old, I would like to train her in some basic stuff and house trained. Eventually I would like to be able to take her hunting fetch some birds, not worry about her just taking off from camp etc. Any tips would be appricated. I have been reading online but any help or books that are good would be appricated. thanks!

some of the roads in 10 where closed off so the wind power plant could be installed. but the main road out is open and is actually a prestine condition road.

    LOST Camera Unit 21

My sony video camera fell out of my pack on the quad somewhere on the dugas road during the october whitetail hunt. If you came across it please let me know. It would save me a lot of Grief. Thanks.

    Is it Friday Yet?!

Im right there with you, hard to work also. I took Thursday off to so only two more days now. Good luck we will be in 21 also. Hopefully we can find some bucks I did not get to scout as much as I wanted to. Life sure does interfere with hunting sometimes

    Hunting mistakes and misses

2 years ago during fall archery I had 3 big muley 4x4 bucks patterned down well. I headed out and sat for 3 days watching them move around me but couldnt get close enough for a shot, 4th day the wife could go with me and brought the video camera. We could only hunt the evening and moved just a little to hope to close the distance for the shot. The bucks played along and walked 35 yards from us single file feeding slowy. I let the arrow fly only to watch it go down about 20 yards then change directions and shoot 45 degrees in the air and stick about 30 feet up in the trees back behind the deer. The 3 bucks and my wife just looked at me in shock then the bucks just jogged off, Luckily the wife stayed lol. Never saw them again turns out there was some down timber I see and my arrow hit a branch about 1/4 inch thick. live and and learn it was still fun watching thoose bucks for the 4 days.
  7. We have 3 tags in 21. Hopefully we will able to fill them but it sounds like this unit has changed over the last several years since I last hunted it. I have been out twice mainly getting to know her again. Going out again on saturday to another area to glass the morning. Good luck on your hunts.
