On the second day of the hunt, David shot at this buck about 500 yards across a large canyon and missed. He just walked off. David left him alone for a couple of days, and then went back and found him in almost the exact same place where he had shot two days earlier. The closest shot he could get was 400 yards across the same canyon. This time he connected. He scored a net 92 3/8. His main beam mass is great, too bad he didn’t point out better. David thought this buck would go 100, but it just wasn’t evenly matched enough.
