Unit 33, Arizona
Here is what David had to say about his hunt:
My father/hunting buddy were hunting unit 33 during the Nov hunt. We saw a lot of deer including a 90-95 inch buck with a kicker off his right G2 that we passed up. Saturday evening I glassed a good looking buck that was real heavy but had short main beams. He was the only buck I saw that night and was too far to go after with the available light so I decided to go check him out in the morning. I hiked into the area from another direction and set up on a hill to glass. I found six bucks right off the bat and the heavy buck was with them. I ranged him from where I was as I could not get any closer and found him to be about 450 yds. I set up my rifle and too my surprise my rest was rock solid so I squeezed off the shot. The buck ran about 50 yds before piling up. The buck gross scored at 103 2/8″. He has some unique extra points and a split G1. It was an awesome hunt, the weather was gorgeous and I couldn’t beat the company.
