I didn’t find this. while I was with some dudes elk hunting we heard a shot and went to check out what they got and as were standing there checking out the kill the dude looks over and found this shed 5 feet from carcass. We helped him skin it and carry the elk out, I didn’t ask for it or anything but he said I could have it. And ever since I got this I’ve had good hunting and shed hunting fortune

Tomorrow we ride . . . I won't be posting any field updates on this one. I want to leave the phone put away and soak up the time with my dad and two boys. We have the whole hunt available. Hopefully when we get back we have plenty to share. I am a giddy like a kid at Christmas right now.

I did use one of those 3K rifles ( Mark V 300 weatherby mag ) but got the gun given to me for FREE.... made the 512 yard shot a drop in the bucket... my middle son filled his tag the next day. And my youngest daughter filled her jr deer tag 30 minutes into the hunt...and I took a buddy out on the mule deer hunt who also tagged out the first hour of the hunt. 4 tags 4 deer good times!

Looking to trade my Henry Golden boy 22 for a henry 17hmr or bolt action 17hmr. No bull barrels and no savage rifles. Purchased the Golden boy new and has only been shot during 1 outing. Has less than 50 rounds through it. Can post pictures later if needed.

You guys remember the Playboy club? Wife and I were driving to our reception and killing time from our wedding, with our best man and wifes maid of honor. we happened to see the playboy hot air balloon in the parking lot of the downtown mall. figured what the heck lets see if we can get a balloon ride would make for a cool pic if nothing else and we have time to kill. some guy came up and asked were was the reception, told them at a buddies house off central just north of here. he said not anymore its at the playboy club now, where like yeah right. he said you guys go with these people and we'll send people to tell your guests. we probably had 50-75 people there. They said drinks were 1/2 price and extra food food was free. 2 hours later it was a party like we never imagined that ended about 1:30am for April and I , Dad said everyone left just before the sun came up. was really cool, saw a wedding reception that was planned for months shut down and reset up at the playboy club in a little over 3 hours decorated and all. lots of big names came in said hi sports guys mainly, full bunny suit waitress staff they had misss Nov and dec. there greeting all the guest and hung around they shut the place down the following year in 83

Howdy all, We just returned home from one of the most memorable hunts I have been a part of to date. Max filled both of his Kansas Deer tags and the week was full of laughs, tears, and many memorable conversations. These moments always help me to reset my compass on what is truly important in life and the opportunities we have to teach young hunters what is truly important and worth pursuing in this sport. These moments are short and gone in the blink of an eye. I hope all of us hunters on here can unitedly work to instill the ethics and values to every young person we can that will preserve this sport for generations to come. Get a young one involved in conservation activities. Hunting is about giving back more than we take. Get excited about trophy animals but never forget to instill excitement over any animal, watch there behavior, and let kids be kids. Shoot what is legal and don't put unnecessary stress on them. As they progress set goals based on their input. Use trail cameras as a tool to learn animal behavior not to claim hunting spots. You see other cameras help the kids to see that we all share equal privileges to the outdoors. If you see a camera that has been messed with have your kid try to fix it. Competition is ruining our sport. Teach our kids to compete within themselves to be the best hunter they can be. If we do so they will be continually successful under the most adverse conditions. Teach them to help other hunters. Take an evening off of their hunt to help with a packout...."there is more happiness in giving than receiving." Appreciate all the great content on this site and hope everyone is having a great season....on to the 36a junior hunt

When they shut you down for in class instruction, wrestling practice and college life what do you do??? At a time when this group would be practicing and competing Cole and his coaches/team mates took to the hills with OTC tags! Nothing to brag about head gear wise but there is gonna be some elk steaks in the freezer this winter!!!

Not the gov. tag but filled the freezer early this year. Been blessed many years with the OTC tags when I don't draw one. Thankful to live where I can get out every year and try my luck. Have to love Arizona elk hunting.

But to actually make a copy? I’d question that myself and I have nothing to hide.

Yup. Had a membership for a while. The mall was Park Central. I believe it was the first one in Phoenix. Would eat at Miracle Mile and also bought some goodies at Kerr Sporting Goods. Cool on the wedding. 👍

My father used an accountant that had an office in the midrise building that housed the Phoenix Playboy club. Whenever I ran paper to the accountant for my father I'd ride the elevator up to the club. One or two bunnies would greet at the opening of the elevator. I was obviously underage but they would humor me for a minute or two. Good times.

Well, I was able to tag out Saturday afternoon. I was walking down a wash into the wind and kicked this buck up at about 50 yards. He went north and into a finger and stopped at about 200 yards. I was able to position myself for a clear shot and dropped him. I hadn't seen a deer all day and when he jumped from his bed, he looked bigger than he was and I just couldn't pass him up. I had a slight shooter's remorse hit me realizing my hunt was over but after looking him over and realizing I had tons of trail camera photos and videos of him, I was happy to have him. I can't wait to get out for the rut in January. Here are a couple hero shots with him and a velvet video from September. mybuck.MOV

+1 on the leader vs. boss. A boss, well 'bosses'.... A boss tells people what to do. A boss monitors and tells workers when they are screwing-up without offer support or help on how not too. A boss places blame on their team, as opposed to 100% support A boss is bossy. LOL A leader motivates & inspires. A leader takes ALL the heat. A leader supports. A leader listens more than they speak. A leader learns. A leader asks their team what else they need to get the work done. A leader breaks-down barriers that their team is facing. Etc.... Good luck in the new job!
