    Points question

Do Loyalty points stay with you when you get drawn? So you would have 2 points at all times if you have hunter edd??????

Off road travel to retrieve Big Game

Meat loss and in the eye of the public were two items I thought would come up. I was just studying the regs and remembered all the times I have seen areas torn up from vehicles. Not that they were hunter made but it made me think. I also was told some stories around the campfire of off road adventures to get elk out. I spend almost all of my time in wilderness areas so its not an issue there but when I do ride other areas I am surprised at the amount of damage off road and around roads.

    CREDIT CARD GOT HIT

Sorry guys, it has been so quiet i couldn't resist. Hope everyone gets what they want this year and has success. Very funny on the quad crack. heck I don't even use a credit card so you guys will have me when the cards do get hit.
  11. I can't imagine there being a good reason not to allow cameras. I have been in almost all of the larger wilderness areas in az and rarely do I see any humans and have never seen forest service personel. The only sign I see are stupid cattle and signs of lazy outfitters or hunters or backpackers. Usually there are no footprints at all for months. For the workin man its too much work to use cameras in wilderness anyway so there's not a lot of arguments I'm sure.

    Burris Fullfeild 11 review

Ya the E model is the same plus some minor changes and new reticle option that has windage. I found an E model brand new for 199.00 so I may hit that one. 3x9x40 retail online is 259.00 on sale from 358.00 so 199.00 sounds good to me. Thanks for the info

    Amendments to R12-4-303

Makes more sense now, Thanks for the review. I was leaning that way and you knocked me off the fence.

    Amendments to R12-4-303

The issue is in the wording where it says intent. Meaning to me if a hunter brings in something salt or mineral for hunting its not legal but if there are blocks brought in by rancher for cattle you can hunt it. Bottom line ask game officer if you pack in salt and place it for hunting is it ok? I am planning salt to hunt or get pics until I hear otherwise

    Commission recommendations

It looks like overall I will be happy with the changes other than the application fee of 13.00. That one will generate a ton of extra money for AZGF but at least they are dedicating the 3.00 and 5.00 portions of that fee to hunter access and such. I was planning on hitting them hard on that fee for phase 2 meetings and emails but now I am conflicted.

    Quail Covey forecast for 2013?

While out pig hunting many days this year we saw a ton of quail. I think this may be the year to drop one of the 4 pounders my neighbor has been feeding.

    Trail cam spring bears

JMO all the ones looking at the cam appear to be sows. I am not very knowing on this but from what I have read thats My guess. Great pics though, my heart would be racing if i got those on my cam.

    LETS COUNT THE RUBS

There were 12 torn up trees in this area total. Also 14 to 15 bear scat piles about 40 yrds from here. Unit 4B lookin good. Too bad I don't have a tag.

    LETS COUNT THE RUBS

Unit 27 I put int for early archery bull and I have my spot already, there are trees that look like helicopters have landed in them.
  23. So my cell phone would be off limits, because it has a camera built in it... I am guessing its the leaving it in the area deal at work. Funny though, I guess I better not set my video cam down or they might grab it.
  24. I do understand the abandoned property deal some but I know there is allot of grey there. I did get ahold of forest service and they said game cameras are not allowed in wilderness areas. I did read this somewhere but cannot find any written information on it, only the phone call gave me the answer. The ruffuges are written as restricted but not the wilderness. I have had my cameras up several times but they are so remote it would be 1 in a million for someone to run into them. I dont have any now and I guess I wont anymore. Not sure what it hurts but rules are rules. Would be nice for them to list this on the web site. It is actually difficult to get all the information needed when heading into the woods for anything. Full time job just leaning all the regs and rules.
