This is the email I sent. Feel free to copy and paste or change it to express what you feel is appropriate: Good morning Sir, I am writing this email to support the Buenos Aires Wildlife Refuge adopting hunting laws concerning predators consistent with the Arizona Game and Fish Department hunting rules and regulations. Having been a resident of the Tucson area for 45 years, I have personally witnessed a larger than normal population of predators on the refuge. Adopting the rules and regulations set forth by the Arizona Game and Fish Department biologists, would provide a fiscally beneficial means to control the predator population benefitting all users of the Refuge. Thank you for considering this matter and please feel free to contact me for any questions or concerns. Sincerely,

I just converted a 77/22 Hornet to K-Hornet and am splitting a lot the cases during fire forming. From all the research I've done it looks like my Nosler brass needs to be annealed prior to fire forming. Does anyone have an annealing machine that can handle this little case and is willing to do a few for me? I will gladly pay for the service and if it solves my problem will have 150 pieces that need to be done. PM or my cell is 520-237-9643. Thank you. -Eliot

Thanks for the info. Tried the 35 gr V Max but not the Sierra HP.
-
Nosler is the only brand of brass I have tried and it seems it is harder than Remington or Winchester. What 40 gr bullet are you using in the top load that fits in the 77/22 mag?
-
I did end up running a 6mm mandrel through the virgin hornet brass first, then a pass through the K Hornet FL sizer. That created a shoulder in the correct place and reduced the amount the body needed to expand. I'm hoping annealing will eliminate the extra steps so I can just load and shoot a regular Hornet load like everybody else seems to do.

Regular 22 Hornet, successful K Hornet fireform, split case

Finally figured out a load where 18 out of 20 did not split. I still want to try annealing the rest beforehand and the more research I do the more I realize how much I "need" an annealing machine for myself.

Ok thanks, we will need to buy the wheels then. Will let you know if it solves the split cases.
