    12AW Youth Oct

My son tagged out on his fist hunt. Great experience- just wish we didn't have a 6.5 hour drive home yesterday. I have some updated intel for any person who is hunting the early 12aw hunt. PM me if anyone can use it.
  6. I want to go shooting in the desert; work a half day during the week and head out after. Maybe some skeet shooting, but generally nothing more than a 50 yrd shot. I work up in Scottsdale, and was wondering if it's better to go through Fountain Hills and out to Mt Ord and shoot there (about 1 hr drive) or better to just head up to 17 to Bloody Basin Rd and shoot there (about the same distance). I never stop short of Cordes Junction on the 17 or Payson up the 87, so curious your thoughts. Thx
  7. not that it matters, but we threw them at the direction of a backstop/canyon wall. found out that my wife was a great shot. good memories.

I did, but it’s decent- not prefect by any means. it’s a beast (heavy). I wanted to make sure it didn’t have any center supports so the is a nice wide span there.

    Dear Arizona Game & Fish,

biggest one for me: points should be squared so that less chance of low point holders getting permits. Yes, we all like the chance to get a late hunt with 1 BP, but it also is lame to wait 10-20 years for one hunt. It would go like this: 1 BP= 1BP 2 BP= 4BP 3 BP= 9BP and so on. And since AZ is growing like crazy, and our wildlife population is essentially capped, it is going to get even tougher/impossible to draw in the future. So if we square points, we should put hard caps on out-of-state draws.

    Free garter snake

He was happily in my backyard for over a month. I loved it- eating bugs. wife found it lost night. Ergo- he’s gotta go. If no one wants him, I’ll probably take him to the Gilbert Riparian.
  25. I am playing a 'home game' with some of my friends and have a few open spots for tonite at 8p. We are all casual (read not great) poker players and just looking for a fun/family game tonite. $20 buyin, using pokerstars.com software (you need to download the software on a laptop- ipads and phones don't work) We'll probably be setting up a zoom call to chat during the game as well. If that matches your speed, PM me.
