Bad pic, but this is a batch of red chile beef with sauce from scratch. I used Hatch Reds instead of Guajillos this time and this is the brightest red chile I have ever made. I used 7 bone chuck because I didn’t want to sell a kidney to afford the beef.

A few meals over the past few weeks. The original shrimp/avocado toast…shrimp ceviche with jalapeño, serranno, red onion, cucumber, red pepper and grape tomato.

That is awesome! Also, way to go on avoiding the slow pitches above and stay on point. I couldn’t have done it.

My insulin was $38/vial in 2000 when I was diagnosed. Now it is $338/vial. Same product, same formula. The only thing that changed was they shipped manufacturing from the US and Canada to Mexico to make it cheaper. Someone ask the illustrious Senator from New Jersey how many Americans die from diabetes every year (87k/year primary cause, 282kyear underlying cause in 2019). Or ask him how much he takes from big pharma into his election war chest every year.
