If you use a small diameter left hand drill bit to start a hole in the broken stud then change to a larger diameter left hand drill bit the edges of the smaller hole should provide a surface that the lager bit can bite. Use a decent amount of downward force right off the bat with the larger bit. If you have access to a .125 end mill, flattening out the likey uneven top surface of the broken stud first is best. This method has worked twice for me on my tacoma. I don't imagine a tundra is much different.

How'd You Get Your First Buck?
Tropicalmulch replied to Yuma Outdoorsman's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
My first mule deer buck, since this is posted in mule deer hunting, was about 6 years ago Dec otc archery. Was a Sunday and I work early on Monday. I got up over a puddle of water thinking things will surely come in after feeding. At about 3pm I woke up to a couple does and fawns coming in, nothing with horns following. With my little bit of action I had hopes things would pick up. Wrong, so before dark I think to myself, let's get outta here, relax a bit and be ready for my 3 am wake-up for work. On my hike out I top a ridge and take a look. Deer everywhere in that canyon! Only a couple of small bucks and they're towards the truck but no cover and eyes everywhere. F it I hike straight line towards em, after all I don't even really wanna kill anything at this point anyway. Just wanna get home and kick it. After hiking straight across an open rocky slope the smallest buck and a couple does are still standing there looking at me. He's broadside at 55 yards. This is also my first deer kill with a bow. So I think to myself, man, do you really wanna deal with this right now for a dinner buck? I'll just draw and see how it feels. We'll I also released that arrow and that buck ran about 50 more yards toward the truck. I wasnt a long way from the truck but I'm pretty sure I was worthless at work the next day. Small mule fork tasted good. My first and only archery deer kill. My first buck was 1995 in 36b...December, little 3x2 with eye guards chasing a doe. Shot em in the flank on the trot. He disappeared in a little draw for a second but followed exactly where the doe came out. 275 yards was my uncles estimate. Hit him in the neck right where it connected to the skull. I was aiming for heart and lungs -
Ive had the marathon seat covers for about 5 years now maybe more and I've been happy with them.

The s last thing i want to do as a hunter is cross the rancher of an area im hunting. It does nothing but create animosity. In fact i try to report dead cattle, lion sightings, leaking troughs ect. If i can. You shouldn't have to do this but maybe hang one of those "smile your on camera" signs on the gate. Or electrify the gate during hunting season lol

Was this salt lick miles away from roads or could you drive up to it? -

First guy to the sight had the right of way. Should never have been a conflict at all. Pretty much common sense that if someone is there first you go to your back up plan for the day. -
Spot-and-Stalk or Sitting Water?
Tropicalmulch replied to AzRaised08's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
I'd say if it's a dry winter sitting water would give you the best chances. If there's a little rain right before your hunt, spot and stalk. I personally find spot and stalk more satisfying and in Jan bucks should be preoccupied with finding tail, however like bigorange said sitting water can be more fruitful. -
Towing Question for Toyota Tacoma owner
Tropicalmulch replied to AZHUNTER05's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I have a 2012 and it hauls my quad on a small trailer and a bed full of camp gear just fine. That being said I did install an add-a leaf to the rear leaf packs. The original set up didn't hold up well to even just the quad in the bed. Also mine is the 6 speed manual. Not sure if the automatics tow the same or not. The other modification I had to do is move the trailer wiring harness so it was mounted in the bumper (like the newer models) -
That's a good question. I guess we'll find out.

I believe just one application. Which actually makes it easier to apply for multiple hunt numbers imo.
-
The application fee is applied to each selected hunt. At the time of application, a customer shall submit the required application fee ($13 for Arizona residents, $15 for nonresidents) for each selected hunt number
-
I would hope so being it's a draw tag and the whole point in this draw is to keep tag and license prices the same. I think they're banking on the application numbers to generate their revenue.

Awesome! Congratulations

I was hoping to see the list today but nope. Guess I'll just sit here and drink.

Good luck. Sometimes a little support makes a big difference to a shooter to keep calm and remember the fundamentals in an exciting situation.

I saw a video once where a guy made something a little less fancy than that for about $10 and took it to a gun buy back. They wouldn't buy it
