I got the free one and cant get the radar to show.

is that app free or do you have to pay 5.99 a month for it?
I have no clue how apps work, just tells me I have to pay to use it.

Not me dude, I dont weld or pretend to know anything about it.
If I was to mickey mouse it and had the other piece, I would drill and tap it then toss 2 LONG stainless steel screws in it.
but its a boat motor lots of vibration as well as bumps. if it can break being one solid piece it could break alot easier mickey mousing it. not to mention liability issues. NEW or Used Bracket

most alum on motor stuff is cast and or crap. buy a new one or find a used one.
the pin in there need to ride smooth and free.. it can be mickey moused and may and probably will work but if you ever get in a accident your fault or theirs you will more than likely loose.
that looks like one of the main motor mounts that attaches to the hull. if the other one breaks due to stress you can loose your motor or injure someone.

We do it without overly relying on trailcams (I don't use them at all). I've never hunted the strip but I can't fathom it being any harder than the desert we hunt. If we can get it done in the desert without cams they can get it done up there... with far more financial resources because of what they charge.
Your exactly right. The strip is no harder to hunt for big deer more than any other unit in the state. I think the strip easier to hunt than the desert for the simple fact you have more bigger deer to choose from.
the problem is peoples expectations.

never say nobody, I did it for free just to see what comes in .
but in todays society I doubt you would find very hardly anyone to do it for someones elses tag paid or not.

all these hypothetical posts are kinda silly if you ask me.

it would be the same as a hunter owning thermal imaging scopes or full autos and using them on single fire and not being able to use them to hunt

I have a very good freind who loves nature and has numerous cameras , all over the unit I hunt. He's not a hunter but gladly shows me all the pictures from his cameras.
He'll send me pictures and a text message telling me the locations.
Lets say --- I'm lucky enough to tag this deer during my hunt. Am I in trouble under this new law, since I have a trail camera picture of him and I post it here . He's drinking from a tank.
but all G&F would have to do is look up your social media posts and find out you do own cameras

The established outfits, like us, already have a client base and won't need trailcam pics to sell hunts. This ban will really hurt some outfits and really help others. We've also never once sold the location of an animal.
Doesnt make any difference what you done or do, there are guides that do it all the time and always have been. some even offer a "CLUB" membership. elk and lopes are popular for for this as well as deer in certain units.

Do you tell your Marine Daugher that she belongs in the kitchen?
Irony is funny when you spin it. Facts are better, I sold it and made BANK.
And yes I do tell my Marine Daughter that all the time as well as some of our closest friends tell her the same thing. Best part about it she can take it and dish it out unlike most so called men on this forum,

Thats really simple to understand, they sold there services by PICTURES, the bigger the animal the more money they got from hunters looking for a guide.. Not to mention all the guides and people selling the location said animals to DYI'S.
I'm betting they lost a good chunk of there revenue with the camera bann.
