Buddy and I went out for pigeons and Eurasian today. After getting a few, we set up some spinners in a farm field and holy crap was it a blast. The dog got a great work out, she retrieved probably 25 or more of our 63 birds. She slept like a champ. She did get a little overwhelmed with all the birds falling. She would be retrieving a bird as others were falling. Overall though, she did wonderful for her first time doing anything like that. It was a freaking blast!

May I suggest that you might be over thinking this? I love Magpuls, but I've had them fail me before.

That thing is good looking... However, have you tried other/new/different mags? Sounds like it's doing every step accept picking up the brass from the magazine.

Realized i never posted this. Nothing too fancy, just a jake but FINALLY my first turkey. Walked up the hill to us calling, all while gobbling his assss off. Had to lean around a tree for the 45 yard shot and sent him tumbling down the hill. Had other toms around us so forgot the field photos as we continued to hunt. Had my son with me and he took the photos. He loves to carry a safe and empty weapon for dad.... And I don't hate it!

Agreed. Best experience I've ever had calling was a double, where i got one as did my buddy. Both with our 870s.
