PFR surgery(plantar fascia release) in 2000 solved the left foot problem. still suffer with the right foot every summer due to softball. cortisone works for that usually in september now that they don't favor the surgery anymore. it was like magic for me. lee

at dawn and high tide on the rocks between pelican point and sandy beach will give you leatherjacks, corvina(edible) and needlefish. gr8 fun on topwater rippers with or without hooks. kastmasters and plastic body jigs worked fast will work. sand beaches offer very little hope except a few corvina, lizardfish and grunts. take a 5# block of frozen uncleaned squid for fishing rockbass & triggers by day and shark by night over rocky bottom. use castabubbles instead of sinkers. if going on a panga take the thawed squid-nothing better for triggerfish and they have the texture and taste of maine lobster-devine! also rock bass, halibut and pargo, maybe corvina. the place is alive with small 3' hammerheads but most pangeros won't bring them on board. lee

i am sure you are correct. during election cycles there is always talk of big changes. point one: today there were over a thousand hornhunters out from tonto lake to canyon creek. point two: tonight rangers were selling horns in show low. in the dark. on buyers back porches. driving their personal trucks.. point three: yes. lee ps buyers pay for as many horns between 9 and noon april 1st in whiteriver as they do for the rest of april.

Easy to understand why states are establishing seasons or start dates for this. So the rez is closed until April 1st which means they can spend all their time on National Forest right now....and then the bonus trip to the rez.......two medium sized bulls still packing today on the national forest side of life...... apaches start looking and glassing in february. no fines for getting caught they just lose their horns to the ranger that catches them. non-indians lose their truck too. lee
