    WTB 6x or 2-7 Scope

Looking for a used Leupy 6x (M8?) or decent 2-7X scope for a lever gun. If you have decent one laying around Tucson please let me know. Budget is $100-200 depending on make and condition. Thanks.
  2. Stopped by the El Con Wall World looking for some drop shot fishing hooks, shelves BARE, but they did have about 10 packs of RAGE 100 grain broadheads for $30/3 plus the practice head.
  3. Rob Luft in Tucson does a good job. His website doesn't showcase it well at all but he did a nice job on a Ruger stock for me. http://www.firearmsaccessorydepot.com/pages/hydro-dipping
  4. Up for sale is a 4 piece 4wt Graphite Lamisglas "Certified Pro" Fly Rod. Fast action, 9' Made in the U.S.A. Comes with sexy flannel sock and rod tube, good used condition, cork good, guides good. Caught a few fish on it. Plays more like a 6 wt and was designed for swinging and casting heavy flies...would be a great rod for Smallys or LMB. Lamisglas is a quality rod company out of Woodland, WA: http://www.lamiglas.com/ $100 in Tucson, or trade for equal value of 20 gauge birdshot #8 or 7.5
  5. Good luck with the project. With the Timney and a good optic/mount you are almost there. That's all I have on my 700 ADL plus some elbow grease with 220 grit sand paper, a $5 rattle can of paint and a bedding kit from Brownell's. Another CWT member was kind enough to help me bed this one and I gave it a few coats of Krylon brown after I floated the barrel. I never take this rifle to the range without at least one person asking where I got the stock. The rifle (.243) is a sub-moa shooter with handloads.

    Spotting scope?

What do you want to use the spotting scope for? If it's for judging racks put the $$$ towards a quality pair of 15x optics, or keep saving for a high end spotter. At $500 you are going to get a heavy piece of equipment that doesn't do a lot for you that quality 15x won't in terms of really breaking down an animal at any great distance... All that said at your price point I'd look for a used Nikon ED50. It's light, compact and offers great optics for the $$$...if you are pairing it with 10x it's great, but if you are carrying it with 15x binos it might end up being an annoyance in your pack.

    Lamiglas 9' 4 piece 4wt Fly Rod

Equal value low profile casting reel or bass tackle would interest me. Or 3# of RL22 I fished it at Lee's Ferry a few years ago and lost a 20+" at my feet just above the Paria. 6x dropper midge gave up on some rocks...

Pay it forward - I will start

I have a an older RH HHA single pin slider .29 red pin, no mounting hardware but a nice site and an older bag target. If you threw a burlap sack over it it still has plenty of life if shot with a recurve or with a youth bow...don't try shooting it with your 80# Omen. Both for free if you pick up in Tucson. I'm gonna put the target out for brush and bulky in a few weeks if no one wants it. Please PM me to pick up one or both archery items.

    Reloader 22

Last week I was told by Bruno's that Alliant was telling its vendors R22 would be available in April...
  15. Really appreciate my RCBS for rifle reloading, it has saved me a lot of time over hand trickling each load. Not familiar with the Hornady, but will say if you currently have a old school powder dispenser don't get rid of it. I sold mine to offset the cost of the electronic RCBS and I miss it for pistol reloading when I'm not as concerned with .01 grain measures. While it saves time for rifles it's actually not as fast for the pistol reloading I do.

    Southeast Tucson trap/skeet range

There is no trap/skeet range at 3 points, but pretty sure the Tucson Trap & Skeet Club (east of the airport on 86) is now $8 a round trap/skeet for non-members, so it is more a question of where you live in town. There is a new archery range out there at SERP too, with targets out to 100 yards.
  21. 90 grain target VLD is sub-moa @100 yards behind 42.5 grains on Reloader 22 in my Rem 700 .243. Doubt the 95 grain would be much different. Also had good luck with 95gr Hornady SST's and 39-42 grains of W760 so if you can access either of those powders you might do alright.
