To those of you who think AZGFD is on our side. KEYWORD (SAFETY) I thought this was a fair chase issue and the antis are coming after us if we dont do something. Really hunter conflict over trail cams Is it documented? No, its not there . There is nothing in the records about an assault based on a Trail Camera conflict . IT IS A LIE ! We have the public records and more coming!

Whether there is cameras or not there will still be 30 sets of eyes out there or what we call posse hunting or platoon hunting and it will even be worse without trailcams. There is no easy fix . So lets do some better hunter education programs teaching folks better etiquette in and on all lawful ways of hunting!

Yes lets stay on a point I have stated over and over. I use cameras for pure enjoyment. I dont use them very much during a hunt because I try to be courtesy and not mess up someones hunt by checking a camera. I try to do unto others how I want others to treat me! What amazes me is you talk like a Leo or a person that is a affiliated with Azgfd or the commission and you assume you know how I hunt. Also Dont assume Trail cams are going away! Its not over till its over. I expect to continue to run trail cams for years to come! 😁

Lets stay on point! We (I) know way more about what the motives are behind this than most of you guys . Reason is I do more than talk I walk the walk. I'm in the field more than most of you keyboard assassins. I personally have talked to the powers that be. Their motive and objective is so colored by their own ambitions they cant even prove why they started this in the 1st place. Was it Fair Chase? Was it Public safety? Was it to fight anti's? Was it to keep it out of the Legislators hands? Was it a personal emotional experience by a dept employee that mixed in other issues but blamed it on cameras and public safety? I have stated time and time again . I run cameras with or with out hunters paid or not because I love it. This is not about hunting skills (I was born with that)😁🤠. Its about freedoms and unenforceable laws! JOE PUBLIC CAN . JOE HUNTER CAN'T. Preparing , Scouting, taking kids , taking friends, anticipating the hunt, then finally the hunt. Its all about (EMOTION). So dont tell me its not ! Conspiracy theories How about Facts 1. Kurt Davis is a Lobbyist and the Chairman of the commissioners. He only has 8 months left to follow through on his promises to get rid of Trail cams. Then he is out! 2. This is just a dog and pony show. Their gonna do what they want anyway! 4. I find it Rare a MAN that will stand for his CONVICTIONS in spite of his Critics and their tactics used to try to discredit him! 5. There are plants on this forum here to discredit.

If you seen the cameras you would crack up. Lots of home made boxes easy to spot. And I know the outfitters cams.

Dont put words in my mouth! I dont want any banning ! But I do believe we need AZGFD to start education about these hunting ethics such as Trail cam edicate and Posse hunting.

I do believe there are some ethical issues here based on public perception. But I would say beyond the Trail cam issue the 1st and formost issue is POSSE hunting . How a wealthy guy can buy alot of people turns my stomach. But the average guy who draws a premium tag does the same thing now . All his buddies and friends of buddies showup and surround the animals giving it no chance of escape. I dont hunt that way. Its one on one with maybe 1 spotter if Im lucky.

Its already over Trophy hunting with or without cameras it has now become the standard for many of our youth based on Daddys wanting bragging rights .I get it. But they are raising and ruining a whole generation of entitlement driven kids that will become adults without understanding what hunting is really about! I make my kids appreciate and understand hunting 1st. They have to harvest a cow elk 1st before being allowed to hunt a bull. Friend I was successful before trail cameras. I just love to watch nature mature thru the lens of a camera. But I dont need them . I love to hunt, and use this tool to generate excitement and enthusiasm through the non hunting cycles. I have helped 100's and 100's of people through out my hunting career all on my dime. I have guided a very limited number of Folks just to be out there more often and cover my expenses. I dont need the money I have a day job. Its a non profit endeavor but for the Love of it I go. How often are you in unit 9? If you actually had boots on the ground year after year like I do. You would know that there are more trail cams from individuals in unit 9 than outfitters! Ding Ding . Round 2.

You might as well kiss hunting goodby in your lifetime friend! Because now they have brought to the forefront fearful SAFETY issues in hunting starting as simple as a trail cam ban , Now 2 hunters arguing over a hunting spot with guns oh my now they are gonna shoot each other and or beat each other to death (SAFETY ) it could happen so lets stop it now ! Now maybe we should we ban guns because they can hurt another hunter or ourselves or an innocent bystander . IT DOESNT STOP! What about those bullets that miss their target with no proper backstop . SAFETY What about that arrow that just missed its intended animal. Where did it go oops it could of hit a hunter or bystander , I mean come on there is alot more people in the woods now days its dangerous ( SAFETY) Have they ever considered adding TRAIL CAM ethics to the hunter education safety course 1st. Teach our hunting public the standard . So now we should ban cars because a 16 year old might race with it and kill himself. No you educate him about the hazards . If he messes up you take his car away. Hmmm Laws only work if their enforceable and have consequences and those that follow the laws understand that. Any Trail cam ban will be unenforceable because you cant (Hunter ) but he can (Nonhunter) GAME & FISH has opened up a can of worms anything to do with hunting can now be based on a safety issue anti's are gonna love this one! What a bunch of foolish men like yourself that have bought into it! Shame on you Start selling your guns and bows its a Public Hazard based on the AZGFD LETTER. THE REPERCUSSION DOES NOT STOOOOOOP! It will echo through our hunting world for years to come.

It should repost next week on their website ! I caught the last few minutes. A partial ban is now being proposed and a 1/4 mile rule. It might as well be a full ban when you see the dates proposed.

I dont Like Posse hunting! But its not illegal.

Wrong on all points! They will not be banned! Not sure who you are but l'll out glass, out walk, out hunt you anyday of the week with or without trailcams. I always put in my time in the field with a video camera in my hand or with a few trail cams out in the field or sitting on a mountain glassing or sitting a waterhole myself to see whats coming in. You'll be hard pressed to prove anything you have said! Just because you say it doesnt mean its true. But most blowhards like yourself are exactly that blowhards . Always be careful to have your facts straight before you attack a guy personally. But this isnt about me its about your perception of guides which its easy to tell your already biased against them. Read the date gentlemen! This is what they started the process with in Oct 2020 based on the asst directors supposedly experience in unit 9! . Which was not over Trail cams but him horning on in somebody elses water hauling spot.

This was sent to GRRC to open the rulemaking process , they have to get permission. So they made up an excuse based on the Governors directives during Covid!!!! I will post the Governors Covid directives here in a bit.
