yeah,#3 was hit straight on which hit low and shredded it down the chest,hit 2 was "in the spin"..thats the high hit..those handloaded VMAX loads are nasty.

Took part of Friday to call as it was kinda overcast..managed 3 yotes and a fox.Then went back out today and it was insane!! Bagged 6 more yotes... Hope everyone is getting out and enjoying the weather..

Thanks everyone..Vowell- I have been calling quite a few Kits in lately.IKE- I handload 55 and 60 grain Hornady V-Max..they arent pelt friendly..but they anchor them!

Was out scouting for deer and it turned into a coyote fest..saw 14 yotes and a bobcat before I decided to pick up the rifle..

Even though I had a great vacation in Michigan,I did miss the predator hunting! The cooler temps this morning after that storm was the perfect calm day to get out..

Thats what I have been saying all week and Im glad I went solo out west near quartzite..missed a few too..but thats hunting..Hope everyones season started out well and look forward to January to get out after some deer myself!

Thanks guys..I wanted to get out yesterday but then it got really windy..Was hoping for it to get calm and it did this morning..boy there were alot out..called in 2 more doubles but the wind was wrong..still a great half day hunt though!

Got this smaller 7 pointer on the last day of the Michigan archery season.The giant 8 point was the next day on the opener rifle..This was the worst year as the warm temps and the supermoon really had a lack of rut activity..few rubs and no scrapes..Did get some trout fishing in as well,but no monsters to brag about..the run was ending..Got to see friends and family and that made it worth while..

Thanks and I hope he gets out after them..I only hunt public land(near Petoskey) and have forever.Its only $260 for 2 tags and a fishing license,pretty good deal for out of staters and there is no shortage of public land to stroll around on..I didnt get to float the Manistee River this year,maybe I can next year..Its a great way to hunt big cattail bucks!

Josiah and I went out till noon..92 degrees and we managed to call in 6 coyotes and 1 kit fox..we were having an off day behind the gun I guess!! Crappy day in the numbers but sure did have a blast shooting and educating those dogs...

Yes its a .223......Its an old school armalite 20"...stupid accurate,and balanced good...shooting 60 grain V-Max handloads..sighted dead-on at 200 yds.

I did shoot it..awesome bow..stupid easy draw and at 31" axle to axle or a 35".. should be a great "hold all day" hunting rig.I ordered one already in all black.Should be a great year!
