The bull was taken on the san carlos reservation by a hunter named Anthony Avalos. The bull is a 11x13 and it is supposed to score in the mid 440's as a non typical. I woke up down there with one warming up by our coals in the fire at about 3 in the morning.

When I was down there for my November hunt I saw an absolute ton of does and 2 little bucks and a decent one. So in my mind 3 to 150 is not a good enough ratio. Ernesto C unit 36c is my favorite unit, but it has been going downhill the last 3 or 4 years it seems like.

That had happened to me on my elk hunt last year except it was a fathere with his son and I could hear and see the dad pointing at me and saying shoot shoot. I then grabbed my orange vest and started to wave it then I saw him and his son start to walk away fast.

Well I was unable to get my deer this year. This was my first hunt for coues and out of 4 serious days of hunting I was able to see about 100 or so deer. Out of all those deer I saw only 2 shooters one which was a 2 point with eyegaurds that would have scored about 60 or so and the otherwas a solid 3 point with no eyegaurds that would have scored about 85 or so and I just could not get a shot off a it or else I would have had it. I passed on 2 spikes and saw no more bucks. Oh weel hopefully I will get drawn next year and get my firs t buck. I would like to thank m1280, scottboy, and azpackhorse for trying to put me in some good areas. Also it was great to meet you azpackhorse and stanley.

Did anybody?? I hunted hard for 2 day's and saw a total of about 50 deer and only 3 bucks a spike that I passed up a 2x2 plus eye gaurds and a 3x3 with no eyegaurds I tried for the bigger ones, but could not get a shot off at them. Oh well there is always next weekend.

That is really disturbing. I have seen cars hit deer and elk but never have I seen anything like that.

There is nothing neater than seeing an albino animal. I ahve only seen one albino animal in my life and theat was an albino fox on my sisters deer hunt about 4 years ago in 20c. Sister would have had it to if it would not have scented us.

Not a problem just do what you need to do.

My dad and I carry one tripod for his swarovskis and our spotting scope while a just rest my Leupolds on my knees since it is only an 8 power. My dad and I hike to a canyon glass for about 45 to 60 minutes then go onto the next canyon and so on. Saw alot of deer and probably push alot of them to but had a great time. We both also carry daypacks and if we get something down one will stay up there and start to quarter it out while the other will hike down to the truck and get our big pack to pack it out with. At our truck we have a water tank with a pump that carries about 40 to 50 gallons of water and sliding drawers with everything that we need for hunting or fishing with in there.
