Pros- small, lightweight, solid mount, made locally. Cons- requires tools to remove if you want to use it on more then one rifle. (edited to clarify why I put it as a con, sorry David)

BPS stands for Browning Pump Shotgun.

Put together my own quick detach tripod plate

Good eye. I am on mud. I have a 77, that I bought to wheel, but is to nice to ruin. I bought it bone stock with 72k miles on it 8 years ago, from the 2nd owner. First owner had it 4 months, then was sent to Korea for 3 years so he sold it to his commander. So I have an 88 FJ62 that I bought to trash. Had a 86 FJ60 that a friend talked me into selling to him. Still regret selling it. I might have some hoarding issues. -
I just finished a build. I cant wait to get some loads put together. It is a 6mmx45 or a 223 case necked up to a 243. I hope my kids get drawn for the youth Coues hunts to try it out. If anyone has any experience with this caliber send me a note. PIcs will follow.

on backpage they have a Savage 308 with a 16in threaded barrel. Just get that suppressor started. So tempted. -
Are bipods really worth the extra weight?

I love mine. Not just when it comes time to take a shot, but when I'm glassing it keeps my rifle out out the dirt and close at hand. -
Shot the rifle in Colorado on a buddy's ranch last week. AWESOME! Was too giddy to remember to take pictures. We shot ground squirrels. Varmint Grenades do a number on them btw. Suppressed made it easy to hear if you hit or missed. Shot the 22lr subsonic suppressed too, best day of shooting I have had in many years.

I shot my 6x45 for the first time last week. It was awesome. I didn't have time to load any of my own ammo, so I bit the bullet and ordered some from Les Baer. The 62 gr Varmint Grenades did a number on ground squirrels. (on a buddys ranch in Colorado) No pictures were taken unfortunately. Suppressed with my Titanium 762 can it was awesome. Will work up my own loads from here. I wanted a 6mm without carrying my LR308/243 combo. A little loss of speed, but I love it.

is the barrel threaded like the one in the link? If so I'm interested.

Will send it Wednesday. Leaving at 3am and back tomorrow night.

Thank you Coach. A special thank you to Bone Collector, for bringing the pipe down.

Week 3 of not being able to shoot. The Joys of parenting! Hopefully this week.

However, if you move to Colorado City, you can have 3 or 4.

I'm waiting for the price to come down on the titanium one. 98k is too much, I wouldn't pay more the 98,500. -

I have purchased from 2 dealers. Both have Demo Shoots a couple times a year. I will post when and where they are scheduled if anyone is interested. -

Do you lift that stove with a engine hoist or do you bring in a crane? Holy monster stove, what does that puppy weigh?

I ordered some from Les Baer to have a baseline. Can't wait until Saturday. Hope to get out and make it rain lead.

@ CW. Really? When was the last time someone shot at you because you took his spot? Shooting at someone, or intentionally shooting in someones direction to scare them is a felony. Is that what you expect from your fellow hunters? That fear reminds me of all the anti-concealed fears that I have heard over the years. -

I went with the Trust. For me it made sense. Others on my Trust can use them without me being there. When I kick the bucket, my wife/estate/kids will not have to do any transfers. (less 200 bucksx? the ATF won't get) Can be modified without too much trouble. I would have used a LLC as a second choice. On a side note, my stamp for my 22 should be here in the next 2 weeks. It is a long 6 months. Squirrel hunting 22 subsonic/suppressed is going to be AWESOME. Just saying. -
Added pic of rifle with 10rd mag that I will hunt with. Can't really see hunting with a full 30rd mag.

I will post some targets as the fun part of the build progresses. Wayno45 asked who built it, and I said I did. What I didn't mention, is that I work part-time at Merchant Firearms and I built the entire top and bottom. If anyone needs parts to build one, let me know. We either have it, or I can help you get it.
