Everyone wants to be the only one in an area. My bucket list is pretty small and only lacks a lion and an antelope. I can count all the deer I have killed on one hand in 30 years. Passed on a lot more. Guess I should have been a vegetarian. LOL If I hike into an area and come up on another hunter I stop and talk. SOmetimes I leave because that's just me. I really like being the only one for as far as I can see. I spent the weekend in 16A and only saw a single group of four guys glassing from their UTV on the way in. Never saw another hunter the rest of the weekend but I hiked into a wilderness area that I only know of another hunter who goes into it. Apparently the deer must not be using it this time of year but I'm going back to see if I can find the lone brute I saw last winter which was the only deer I have seen in there in three years. Everyone has their own take on hunting. I like to be successful but won't do it at the expense of other hunters experience.

Yeah, it's existing sites that I'm seeing activity at.

I had a Weaver T16 I used for Silhouette shooting for a few years a couple of times a month and had it set to a 200 yard zero. During each match I would adjust it to 300, 400 and 500 yards and it never failed to return to zero.

Hopefully they can dust it for prints.

It might be a little hot this time of year but a pair of long johns under jeans works very well.

I know it's not too far off and hopefully we will have enough snow for Snow Bowl to be open for Thanksgiving. Where around Flagstaff is a good place to take a 4yo to go sledding?

Everytime I drive past it there are a bunch a vehicles parked there. In almost 40 years I have never has the urge to go there. It always seemed to have way too many people.

A relative started a job just over a year ago with the State as an hourly employee. Recently was given a raise and was made salary and basically works five days and 40 hours. They said that in a few months they are going to increase production and everyone will have to work 7 days a week for six months so basically no time off and no mention of OT Pay so it works out to working for free two days a week. On top of that they had everyone sign a form that they created telling the employees that the place was shutting down for a week around Christmas and all the employees have to use their vacation time for that week. Thoughts?

No it's not unionized or this wouldn't be going on. They don't give them any HAZMAT training or do any safety toolbox meetings either. They do spray some chemicals and give them a full respirator/face shield to wear but never had the employees get tested to see if they were able to wear one without if affecting their breathing.

Rest of it is pretty pristine. Hole is easy to cosmetically repair. I glass bedded the same rifle for my brother-in-law years ago and the 788's have nine lugs and the fastest lock time ever in a production rifle. I have one in 22-250.

That is part of what makes SW better to some of us. But you have to know the game going in or yeah, you get hosed. These days you have to buy the Early bird upgrade ($12.50) as well to be in the front half of the aircraft. True. I fly them exclusively. Happy crews and very accommodating they are. I can usually always get a window seat and fly alone 99% of the time. Flights are extremely rare to not be ontime. Free bags is a plus but one carry on works for me except for return trips where I am usually bringing back a cooler of fish or sausages when I travel to Louisiana to visit family.

This has been my experience as well. I ended up just using a separate gps with a pair of Midland GMRS radios and this setup has worked better for me. Just got a Baofeng and am going to get Ham license...we'll see how that works out. Which model did you get?
