They called a while ago and it seemed too good of an opportunity to pass up since she will probably never draw it if we passed this time. I would love to chat with any of you who have hunted this unit in the past and would be willing to educate me last minute as to road access, camping, late season issues to be aware of. I am looking now at the gf website for areas but it will be a crunch since it starts in less than 2 wks. Please PM and i will give you my number if you are willing to share information.

How was that Kaibab Hunt?

It was a pretty short hunt for us. Found a hot doe on Thursday evening and went back in the AM. Found this buck and a few others but this was the heaviest and largest frame. She thought about passing him as we watched them for a couple hours but then decided to take him. She made a great shot at 270 yards and he was done. Met some good people up there and had a great time. She was very blessed to get that call. Thanks to all the people who offered info on the unit!

Welcome to the site. There are a lot of tags that can be drawn relatively easy as others have said and i agree with all units hold big bucks. There is a ton of diversity in habitat throughout the state so if you have a certain type you like to hunt that can narrow it down. After my experience hunting WY in the past, i would guess you are used to lots of hunters so this will be similar. PM me if you have any questions and would like to chat.

Wtf is a pug mark? I didn't even know we had wild pugs in az...lol Always cool to see a lion and even more awesome to watch them when they don't know you are there. I have been fortunate to have seen quite a few but rarely see them first.

Awesome Hunt! Best advice I can give is Don't let the number of hunters and guides discourage you. Just do your thing.. best scouting is just before the hunt. And frigging cold is spot on. Good luck!

All I can say is dang! Phenomenal shooting with obviously highly accurate rifles and ammo. I am very impressed...Well done!

Has anyone done any tests on whether this option should be enabled in the app? I noticed enabling it changed my 1000 dope by 1 moa.
