I think we have a lack of water and therefore the habitat for a viable moose population. wallows and bogs

I think the way its worded they could prove intent, simply by proving you have a hunting license. I think with this ban, deer and elk will get bigger and hunting will become hunting again. Not a hybrid form of fishing that many of the trail cam guys practice.

after much consideration, I am going with the sheep tag mainly because its once in a lifetime and I imagine even sheep would be challenging with archery equipment. Interesting no one has mentioned coues whatsoever (including myself)

I’m by no means an expert,but I have found several vintage recurves at swap meets for less than 30.00 dollars. You may want to consider getting one of those to start with. The one thing I discovered when hunting with a recurve is ‘flow’ matters more than anything. That is to say that let things form don’t force the situation. I’ve taken a Coues with my bow and this year I will try for an elk. Good luck close range hunting imo is one of the greatest accomplishments in hunting.

IMO stay AWAY from decoys, wearing white, or any other trick/gimmick that comes up and just hunt. from my experience the majority of time they just run the other way. no way, even if they dont work im making a full antelope suit with one of them antelope head hats. if nothing else it will be hilarious I saw that in unit 1 on my brothers hunt a few years ago. We spooked a herd towards the road, then the costume party began. First came the decoy guy, then the guy in a painters suit, and finished with the guy with the hat. The antelope look at them like them like they were stupid and went the opposite way. Well I'm gonna be a 2 person costume I just need someone to be the back end. Looking for the second man on your human centipede costume? Lol, you volunteering? Ill send my representative

Ive been successful in the past. I had the late season archery last year, I did not take a bull, but I saw over 100 (600 cows)and I passed up some bulls that people questioned my sanity on A few photos from last season

From what the experts are saying, every good major college program is involved in some way. I'm sure ASU has their skeletons but they were not perennially good enough to be investigated.

the show low creek HAM antlerless hunts. I got the wild hair to hunt elk with my recurve/and or my pistol. Antelope down south, I want to add the chihuahuan version to stuff I have taken with my bow.

i never told anybody about this because no one would believe me. I watched an eagle and an osprey fight over a bullhead catfish. Usually the eagle would make the osprey drop the fish and swoop down and catch it out of the air. I've Seen this several times at reservation lake. After some evasive maneuvers the osprey fought back and they grasped each other with their claws/talons. The Sound I imagine sounded like a motorless WWI dog fight. After few/several seconds the osprey dropped the bullhead and let go of the eagle, each going their separate ways. The bullhead falls about 20 feet to the side of me and I noticed it was still alive. I put it back in the water and resuscitate after 30 seconds or maybe a minute it swims off.

You sound like a relatively new hunter, if you get either tag I will show you a few spots with very good bucks.

Pros and cons speaking as a Show Low Resident Pros Hunting within minutes Fishing better than average traffic issues nothing like the valley overall very friendly people Cons No good places to eat (lame steak place, mexican fast food, weak chinese, pizza and thats it) Minimal urban activities to do public servants incredible self righteous Limited shopping capabilities cause artificially high prices at the grocery store bad cell service (especially on holidays and summer weekends) 3 hours to anywhere (everywhere you go is at least three hours away) very clickish based on religious, social and ethnic standings But if you are still interested I will very likely have my home for sale this year. good luck on your choice

I'm not much of a score guy, but I did get a little curious when the official SCI scorer moved some of the width measurements because abstract horn was in the way. It was my understanding that you were to go directly over the 'the bumps' Could somebody with more expertise clarify for me?
