Well, after checking my statement it looks like they refunded the stamp for Kiabab, so no Kiabab hunt for me this year. However I did get drwan for unit 31 the early hunt, which is one of my favorite hunts. Killed my 1st coues deer with a rifle there and my 1st bow kill ther as well last year. I know the unit like the back of my hand and real excited to return. I've been chasing a brute I call "the white whale" for two years now, so hopefully this is my year. Aslo pulled a tag for unit 27 turkey! GONNA BE A GREAT YEAR! Good luck to all!

Here are a few more pics from my shark hunt. The last fish is an ocean Sculpin, They have poison spikes on thier dorsal fin but taste just like lobster. This one was a bit small so I released him.

Back from my spearfishing adventure and offshore fishing in Dana Point Land, San Diego. Huge succes !!! Got my first Thresher Shark! After I hooked him with the rod, he came strait at the boat, so I had wind furiously to kee tension. Once he was near the boat, I hopped in with the speargun and put one right on top off his dome!! Shark steaks are now on my menu!

I added a REM 3-9x40 scope to my new 22 Magnum. Gonna handle some business with this bad boy. Dead on @ 100 yards:)

Spent an evening after work catching striper Gonna be great fish fry! Tip: the fish are holding around 30-55ft deep. Look for sunkin Island with a depth finder as that seems to be where they're holding

Finally had chance to fly fish for carp and grab some nice 3-4lb Striped Bass. The bite is picking up!

Well, My Father and Brother certainly made me jealous! Wish I could've join them, one of the few trips I missed fishing with my Father... who's my favorite hunting/fishing part, role model, friend. Love you Dad! Happy Father's Day to the Dad's out there!!!

Hi buffhunter, I use tiny green damsel fly unweighted nymph. For a dry fly I tie just a tuft of white dubbing on a small hook to imitate the bread & what not people feed the ducks. Works well!

123456, Yes cut anchovies at night with a light. If you have a depth finder, look for humps,structure, or sunkin islands around 30ft deep & fish those areas. I also use an umbrella shad catch net under my light to catch live shad. Good luck Buddy!

I generally fly fish down there and I would look for the bait balls on the surface and cast just past them and strip my line in very fast and always hooked up with small pompano or sea trout and some times even the ocassional trigger fish or Pargo. the same would work with regular tackle with shadraps Zara Spooks and big silver or gold castmasters. I've some pretty good luck fly fishing the Northen coves, as far back as you can get at Lake Pleasant on top water and sub surface flys. Spinning gear with Zara Spooks, or anything immitating shad does well also. Gotta be there AT THE CRACK OF DAWN because it starts to drop off about 8AM then picks back up just before sunset. Heres a tiny guy I caught on the fly rod. Good Luck!
