I have this one. Very heavy duty and very durable. A great tripod to glass from, but too heavy for me to hike all day with. I went to a lighter one. Plus just to fit in my pack I had to screw off the pistol grip.

I played for ASU and was on the 98 World Series team....and can't wait for the sanctions to be lifted so I can root for the Devils to get back to Omaha. Good luck to the Wildcats, it is definately an experience of a lifetime to head back to the mecca of college baseball. I think UCLA and UofA tied for the Pac12 title, but UCLA gets it because they won the series during the regular season (tie breaker)

I'm so sorry to hear about your break in, that is terrible and I hope they find these sick people. I know how you feel, this happened to me in October, got everything of mine totalling 10K plus 5K on the credit card. Never go it back nor did insurance help out at all. If you need help finding your stuff, let me know. I'll keep my eye out as well. I can't stand these low lifes.

I'm so excited to get up there this summer, just wish is wasn't so far and i could make more trips on weekends. Didn't get to go last year, first time in like 20 years. I'm more curious to see what it looks like since the Wallow fire. Which brings up a question....does anyone know good areas to camp that are not in one of the main campgrounds at Big Lake? We might have a huge group going and might need to find a campsite that can hold all of us.

This by no means is the statistics, but i was bored and just wanted to play with numbers. Obviously some purchased a license in January for deer, but i just counted it in this. Plus maybe they didn't fill the 10% Non Res cap, but i assumed they did in this scenario. With the devastating fire last summer in the beautiful White Mountains, I was curious what the winter looks like up there. Anyone that has visited, lives, or taken photos I would love to see/hear an update on that area and wildlife.

+ 1 Amanda. I was fortunate enough to meet 3 of them last summer on memorial day at Pearl Harbor. What a great experience i will remember forever. The memorial leaves me speechless every time I go.

I had this happen to me less than a month ago. Got all my stuff too so i know how you feel. Its horrible and makes you feel like giving up...someone taking all your hard earned goods. I had the kaibabs as well. All in all i got hit for 15K. Insurance didn't cover it so i'm really out. ON the bright side, they left my dog alone and everyone is safe. material things can be replaced... How did they get in your house?

Fairly new to hunting (3 years) harvested one pig, one cow elk. Been working my tail off bowhunting mule deer in the timber and desert the last three years with no luck. Finally gave in and put in for a rifle tag, drawing unit 42. Had a few questions hoping for some advice to get that first buck. What type of habitat should I be looking for when I glass? Hills, flats, canyons, etc Are they hitting water frequently or does it slow with the cooler weather? Still a month or so out of the rut, should I see bucks running with does? Any good glassing hills to climb? Looking forward to the hunt...only 22 days:)

Its tag soup for me, hunted my tail off glassing for hours upon hours...and then walking during the day to try and kick something up. We saw one small spike and that was it. THanks for all of the info and help to those that PM'd me. Hopefully next year. Congrats to those of you that were successful, and nice pics of the bucks. Im curious what area you all were hunting?

what sights and rest are on it?

I've noticed it in 42....only heard one shot in 3 days in the vulture mountains. It could have been the storm that came through that caused it. Not sure, but either way we didn't see much for deer.

To all my new friends online... My house was broken into today and ransacked by some lowlife who kicked in my front door. They took computers and anything they could get their hands onto. For some reason God only knows, every piece of hunting gear i've saved to buy for so long for is gone. Im still in shock, but reaching out to everyone to keep their eyes/ears open for anyone selling/dumping any of these items. My passion has been taken from me at the moment, but more importantly my wife and dog are ok, and the material things can be replaced. My licenses, tags, and everything are gone and I hope G&F is able to re-issue them to me for the upcoming late season. I pray the Peoria Police finds these criminals. I have devoted the last 3 years of my life to the sport, and don't know where to go from here. Im sure I'll realize more when i clean up the mess they left. I have over 5K invested in this and its gone in the blink of an eye. I pray for the sick and twisted individual(s) who are responsible and I feel sorry you have to rob and innocent hard working high school teacher. called the officer last night, gave him all the info. he said they will pull video. I just hope they work on it soon. thanks for all the help. I tried to call walmart last night, but i dont think any of them will show me videos. Also, they ran two separate transactions for like $600 at the same store 10 minutes apart, how are they not one single time asked for ID on a purchase that big?

That bow looks just like it, but i didnt have a bag and arrows in the case. but they got 30 brand new arrows in boxes. Just found out they have done 4K on my wifes credit card from before we were married at Lowes, Walmart, and fast food places. Any law enforcemtn people out there can tell me what I can do? i have store numbers and everything from the statement where they were they have to be on video? waiting for officer to call me back
