Newbie for coues needing a little help
Flatlander replied to cvitech2's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
It might be a little tougher in the 30's to find some overlap areas. There are quite a few places you could find either species in 32. Draw odds for WT in 32 are favorable, but tougher for the muley hunts. If your idea is to party hunt and be able to shoot no mater the species fo the deer, be careful because the laws out west are more restrictive and you could find yourself in a heap of trouble if you got caught. Not trying to accuse you of anything, just giving you a heads up. Good luck, I hope you get into a bunch of deer. -
Looks like 3 different bears to me, but hey, I am no expert. The first one looks like a friggin 55 gallon drum with feet. Would love to see you get an arrow into him. Good spot.

Here's my dilemma, looking for help
Flatlander replied to RodinAZ's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Have you hunted any of the 20's previously? This may be a good idea for a thread, solo hunters looking for a camp to join or group to apply with. You have had a few profile views today, so some folks are probably considering it. Maybe offer up a little info on your experience / approach and your setup. For instance, do you have your own transportation, gear, etc. Good luck, I hope you find a great group to hunt with. -
I read this to day and was happy it is all finally coming to light. Time to clean house.

Thanks for getting this taken care of TJ. You are a great example.

Start walking. Either one of those spots ought to work.

I am no Amanda, but I think if you go to your profile then over on the left hand side there is a tab that says topics. Clicking on that should do the trick.

Had me worried there for a second. Great pics. Thanks for sharing them with us.

I would be happy to go to the baseball games, but I don't think the two are mutually exclusive. And since this thread refers back to last year's football thread, RE: UA beating Oklahoma State, I think it makes sense. So any of the pussy cats willing to sign up?
-
So I just had a thought. SInce this topic seems to have caught the interest of so many on this site. Why don't we put together a CWT territorial cup group and go to the football game together, or at least tailgate together before hand? Then, if anyone is interested, we could put a little wager on the game. Say the fans of the losing team have to dress up like their rivals cheerleaders and take a picture to be their avatar until the next year? Any of the kitty cat fans got the fortitiude???

With the recurve, OK, I am impressed.

NTS - Did you ever get a hold of them? I was able to find the bishop's phone number.

Sorry to say it so late, but Happy Birthday! Glad it was a good one. Any day in the mountains ought to be a good one.

Thanks Murphy. Look forward to seeing you next week. This is a very accommodating guy. -
Well, I knew better than to believe the AZGFD when they said they wanted to 'simplify' the license and tag fee structure. They weren't granted the power for a week before they proposed raising the price of an elk tag by an average of 37%. And their 'simplification includes creating 3 different prices for elk tags and 2 different prices for deer tags. Please attend the meetings and comment. I have stood by and defended AZGFD again and again. But I can't do it on this one. Here is a link for better viewing. http://www.azgfd.gov/eservices/licenses_newFees.shtml

The short thirds on the wide one mad me hesitate on which one. I don't think I would be holding out on either.

The point here is that ASU became ASU in 1958. Actually UA went 17-2 against TNS and Arizona State College prior to 1946. Since the seriece became annual ASU leads 36-30 and leads 30-24 since ASU became ASU. UA claims about victories over TNS are a joke and expected Pussy Cat types.
-
I bet its buried in that far shoulder.
-
Hughes come on now, you really had to go back to 1899 when it was UofA vs Tempe Normal College? Just because your old butt can remember back that far doesn't mean it is relevant. ASU leads the all time series against the Pussy Cats 30-24. And more importantly, we beat you last year.
-
That's got to suck.
-
Yeah, that would put you at 7 and that october kaibab tag wouldn't be far away.

Maybe Amanda can make a BC777 vs Rifleman Forum so they can have their domestic disputes there so they don't have to hijack others' threads for their dirty laundry airing.
